Sautéed Mustard Greens
Ingredients
1 bundle mustard greens
1 small onion (sliced)
1–2 tablespoons coconut oil and/or bacon grease (ha!)
Juice of ½ lemon (or to taste)
1–2 teaspoons maple syrup (a light drizzle)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Optional: your favorite seasoning blend
Instructions
Wash the mustard greens well and shake dry. Roughly chop if desired.
Heat coconut oil and/or bacon grease in a skillet over medium heat.
Add sliced onions and sauté until soft and lightly golden.
Add mustard greens and cook until wilted and tender.
Finish with a squeeze of lemon, a drizzle of maple syrup, salt, pepper, and any favorite seasonings.
